If you drive a car, chances are at some point you've been in a car accident. You might remember the lengthy and confusing process of trying to document the incident, deal with the other parties involved, talk to law enforcement, and provide information to your insurer. Quick Crash aims to simplify the process after you're involved in a crash so you can focus on getting back to what you were doing before the accident: driving!
In the U.S. alone, it's estimated that car accidents cost the economy upwards of $875 billion dollars annually. While things like injuries and physical damages can't be fixed by an app, there is still a large amount of time and fiscal waste associated with the reporting and claims process.
Law enforcment spends an average of 2 hours per incident, while it can take adjusters multiple days of contacting drivers, witnesses, and traveling to the scene to attempt to reconstruct the crash. The most relevant information that can be obtained is from the parties involved immediately after it happens.
Quick crash helps to report the most accurate representation of the incident which results in a quicker claims process, less time for police, and overall a better experience for people involved in a crash.
Quick crash is currently in development and will be available on iOS and Android platforms.
